Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management

  • Oversee all aspects of restaurant and banquet operations, ensuring smooth service and event execution.
  • Monitor daily activities to ensure quality standards in food, beverage, and customer service.
  • Coordinate with chefs, banquet managers, and service teams to manage event schedules and restaurant reservations efficiently.

Team Leadership

  • Recruit, train, and supervise restaurant and banquet staff.
  • Schedule shifts, assign duties, and conduct performance reviews.
  • Provide leadership, motivation, and mentoring to create a high-performing team.

Customer Experience

  • Ensure outstanding customer service during all events and dining experiences.
  • Resolve guest complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain a strong presence on the floor to engage with guests and handle feedback.

Financial & Budget Management

  • Develop and manage budgets for both banquet and restaurant operations.
  • Control labor and operational costs without compromising quality.
  • Monitor P&L statements and take corrective action to achieve financial targets.

Sales & Marketing

  • Work with the sales/marketing team to promote events, special dining promotions, and seasonal offers.
  • Build relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and local businesses to increase banquet bookings and restaurant traffic.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a General Manager or similar role in restaurant and/or banquet management (5+ years preferred).
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Solid understanding of food and beverage operations, including event planning.
  • Knowledge of budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or equivalent (preferred).
