Hiring: Oracle Utilities Consultant – C2M / CCB / MDM / CCS

We are looking for an experienced
Oracle Utilities Consultant
to design, build, and configure enterprise applications that meet complex business and application requirements across
Customer Care & Billing (CCB), Customer to Meter (C2M), Meter Data Management (MDM), and Customer Cloud Service (CCS)
.

Project Role Description

Design, build, and configure Oracle Utilities applications to meet business process and application requirements across utility enterprise systems.

Must-Have Skills

  • Strong working knowledge of:
  • Oracle C2M
  • Oracle Customer Cloud Service (CCS)
  • Oracle Meter Data Management (MDM)
  • Proficiency in programming languages:
  • Groovy, 4GL, Java, PL/SQL, JavaScript
  • Hands-on experience with
    Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF)
  • Basic understanding of Java concepts:
  • Type Conversion
  • Arrays, Lists
  • Exception & Error Handling

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience
    in:
  • Customer Care & Billing (CCB)
  • Meter Data Management (MDM)
  • Proven experience in
    end-to-end implementations
    (Design → Build → Test → Deploy)

Key Responsibilities

  • Apply strong
    technical architecture principles and best practices
    for Oracle CCB and MDM implementations
  • Participate in all project phases:
    Design, Build, Test, and Deploy
  • Design and develop
    complex integrations
    with on-premise and cloud-based applications
  • Develop, enhance, re-engineer, and maintain
    upstream and downstream system integrations
  • Analyze, debug, and resolve defects with
    root cause analysis
  • Provide implementation and post-go-live support
  • Collaborate with Oracle/vendor support teams to resolve technical issues
  • Understand and align
    OUAF architecture
    with evolving business requirements

Detailed Job Description

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in
    C2M, MDM, or CCS
    , including
    end-to-end solution design and implementation
  • Strong proficiency in
    OUAF framework components
    , including:
  • Groovy scripts
  • Batch Processing
  • Case & Service Tasks
  • UI Maps
  • Business Services
  • Zones, Portals
  • Business Objects
  • IWS, Outbound Services
  • Algorithms
  • Familiarity with
    Customer Service Type & process flows
  • Experience acting as a
    Subject Matter Expert (SME)
    for technical design and development
  • Hands-on expertise in
    CCS / C2M / CC&B / MDM
    , including:
  • Business Object updates
  • V-Structures
  • Strong understanding of
    Oracle CCB and MDM data models, APIs, and integration points
  • Ability to customize and configure Oracle Utilities applications to meet business needs
  • Solid experience with
    Oracle Database
    concepts:
  • Data modeling
  • Performance tuning
  • Optimization and management
  • Experience using
    version control tools
    :
  • Git, SVN (or equivalent)
  • Proficiency in
    CMA Packaging / Bundle Export
  • Ability to produce clear technical documentation, including:
  • Technical specifications
  • Design documents
  • User guides
  • Strong coding, debugging, and troubleshooting skills
  • Exposure to other OUAF-based products is a plus:
  • SOM, ODM, NMS, SGG, MWM, WAM, OUCSS, OUBI
  • Strong analytical skills to solve complex issues during design and testing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Oracle Utilities Certifications
    are a strong advantage
