Job Description

Training & Delivery

  • Conduct CAD/CAM training workshops at engineering colleges across India.
  • Deliver expert-level training on Catia along with exposure to Creo, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD.
  • Teach Part Modelling, Assembly, Drafting, Sheet Metal basics, and Surfacing fundamentals.
  • Provide strong grounding in Drawing Fundamentals, Engineering Fundamentals, and Basic GD&T.
  • Ensure high-quality sessions with strong conceptual explanations and hands-on practice.

Curriculum & Content Development

  • Develop structured training modules, lesson plans, and practice projects.
  • Prepare course content for basic to advanced foundation programs.
  • Continuously upgrade the curriculum to match the latest industry standards and software updates.

Student Evaluation & Support

  • Assess student performance through tests, assignments, and practical tasks.
  • Provide constructive feedback and guidance to help students improve technical skills.
  • Support students in understanding real-world engineering and design applications.

Coordination & Collaboration

  • Work closely with college faculty and training coordinators to ensure smooth program execution.
  • Represent Design Corporation professionally during all campus training engagements.
  • Maintain training reports, attendance, and feedback documentation.

Industry Awareness

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in CAD/CAM software, GD&T standards, and design engineering trends.
  • Recommend improvements to enhance learning outcomes and training quality.

Qualifications — Required

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in training students on CAD/CAM software.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Catia (Part, Assembly, Drafting; Sheet Metal/Surfacing preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of Creo, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD.
  • Solid understanding of Engineering Drawing, GD&T (basic), manufacturing fundamentals.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Automobile/Aerospace Engineering or related field.
  • Ability to travel for workshops and work independently.

Preferred

  • Experience conducting college-level workshops or industrial training programs.
  • Prior industry experience in Design, CAD Modelling, or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Knowledge of industry drafting standards and practical design workflows.
  • Ability to train on more advanced surfacing/sheet metal modules (added advantage).
