Manager - Center cum Placement

Job Summary:
Establish and operate the center to serve youth and employers in a sustainable manner, overseeing outreach, mobilization, assessment, quality training delivery, employer relations, placements, administration, and overall team coordination. Responsible for achieving center goals, documentation, compliance, reporting, event management, and fostering an environment for youth success and team growth.
- Key Responsibilities:
Batch Planning & Outreach
- Collaborate with Reporting Manager to finalize courses based on market scan
- Coordinate mobilization areas, roadshows, team assignments, and community engagement activities
- Identify/establish venue with essential amenities and ensure center branding
- Guide Community Mobilizer, collect and distribute outreach materials from central office
- Strategize and execute outreach to optimize enrollment and centre awareness
Center Setup & Administration
- Organize induction (Life Skills/Soft Skills), batch scheduling, and counseling for every youth
- Oversee pre/post assessment and enrollment process, mapping jobs to candidate profiles
- Supervise staff (trainers, mobilizers, admin), assign duties, facilitate capacity-building
- Monitor daily operations, attendance, asset management, and center upkeep
- Manage center budget, inventory, and documentation per organizational guidelines
- Maintain compliance with reporting, statutory, and HR requisites
Training Delivery & Quality Assurance
- Create, monitor, and review training calendars, domain lesson plans, and assessment processes
- Ensure instructional quality, gather periodic feedback, and implement remedial measures
- Lead/facilitate select training sessions or workshops (cross/upskilling); mentor trainers
- Implement Quality Assurance & Enhancement (QAE), monitor compliance and rectify assessment gaps
Placement and Employer Relations
- Build and expand employer networks, coordinate industry visits, and arrange job interviews at campus
- Support job-matching, post-placement handholding, and alumni engagement
- Collect offer letters, case studies, employer testimonials, and maintain placement statistics
- Conduct employer/industry sensitization, work readiness modules, and volunteer activities
Center Reporting & Event Management
- Maintain and verify records (registration, attendance, inventory, guest logs, alumni, press, etc.)
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, batch completion, and annual reporting to reporting manager and donor
- Organize events: inaugurations, parent meetings, valedictory programs, workshops, and post-placement surveys
- Ensure timely documentation (ETA/UCs), compliance, and event follow-up
Grooming & Professional Conduct
- Ensure self and team adhere to professional grooming and attire guidelines
- Foster a culture of discipline, timely communication, and Nirmaans code of conduct
- Communicate leaves and operational challenges promptly; support other projects as assigned
Maintain open liaison with center staff, management, donors, and partners
