Position Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Accountant with more than 3 years of experience in accounting, taxation, and financial management. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in GST return filing, TDS return, income tax return, and financial reporting. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of accounting principles and statutory compliances.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle day-to-day accounting operations including journal entries, invoices, and ledger management.
  • Prepare and file GST returns, TDS returns, and Income Tax returns accurately and on time.
  • Maintain and reconcile books of accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with statutory norms.
  • Assist in finalization of accounts and preparation of balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and other financial reports.
  • Coordinate with auditors for internal and external audits.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, vendor payments, and expense tracking.
  • Monitor bank reconciliations, fund flow, and petty cash management.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory laws and company policies.
  • Provide support in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial data and company information.

Key Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of Accounting Standards and Taxation laws (GST, TDS, Income Tax).
  • Proficiency in Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime, MS Excel, and accounting software.
  • Experience in filing GST, TDS, and Income Tax returns.
  • Knowledge of ROC compliances, PF, ESI, and Payroll accounting is an advantage.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial documentation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting or finance-related roles.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience in corporate accounting and taxation.

Salary:

  • Competitive and based on experience and last drawn salary.
