Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled L1 Wireless Network Engineer to join our IT Network Operations team in Bangalore. The candidate will assist in the monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance of enterprise wireless and network infrastructure. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates or early professionals to build a strong foundation in network engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Level 1 support for wireless and wired network infrastructure.
  • Monitor network performance, connectivity, and uptime using network management tools.
  • Assist in troubleshooting LAN/WLAN/WAN issues and escalate complex issues to higher levels.
  • Support network configuration, installation, and documentation activities.
  • Handle incident and service requests related to wireless access points, switches, and routers.
  • Work with senior engineers to perform basic network device configuration and testing.
  • Maintain accurate records of incidents and resolutions in ticketing systems.
  • Ensure compliance with company IT and network security policies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Basic understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, Routing & Switching, and Wireless technologies.
  • Familiarity with Cisco wireless controllers and access points is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Good communication and documentation skills.
  • Willingness to work in shifts (if required).
