About the Role

Throne Solutions is seeking a skilled Wireless Engineer to support and optimize enterprise wireless infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in troubleshooting, designing, and maintaining secure and scalable wireless networks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, configure, and optimize wireless networks (Wi-Fi & related technologies)
  • Conduct wireless site surveys, heat mapping, and coverage validation
  • Troubleshoot connectivity, latency, and performance issues
  • Implement wireless security protocols, authentication, and access control
  • Perform regular access point upgrades, monitoring, and configuration
  • Integrate wireless systems with switches, controllers, and NMS platforms
  • Document network architecture, configurations, and troubleshooting steps
  • Collaborate with network engineers and IT support teams for operations continuity.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong understanding of Wi-Fi standards a/b/g/n/ac/ax)
  • Knowledge of WLAN controllers, APs, and network monitoring tools
  • Experience with wireless technologies such as Cisco, Aruba, Meraki, Ruckus, etc.
  • Familiarity with TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLAN, and firewall basics
  • Experience with wireless survey tools (Ekahau, AirMagnet, NetSpot, etc.)
  • Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience

Preferred Certifications (Nice to Have)

  • CWNA / CWNP
  • Cisco Wireless (CCNA Wireless or CCNP Enterprise)
  • Aruba Certified Mobility Professional
  • Any relevant wireless technologies certification

Behavioral & Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams
