Job Title: Purchase Engineer Junior & Senior Level

Location: Ahmedabad

CTC Range: 3 to 8 LPA (based on experience and aptitude)

Experience: 3 to 8 Years

Qualifications: B.E. or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop vendors for mechanical parts, tools, and components
  • Evaluate quotations, negotiate contracts, and finalize purchase orders
  • Ensure timely procurement of materials while maintaining cost efficiency
  • Coordinate with production and design teams for technical specifications
  • Monitor inventory levels and reorder as necessary
  • Maintain supplier relationships and resolve delivery or quality issues
  • Prepare and maintain procurement records, reports, and price lists

Required Skills:

  • Strong understanding of mechanical components and industrial machinery
  • Proven experience in vendor development and purchase negotiation
  • Knowledge of procurement processes, GST, and billing terms
  • Hands-on with MS Office, ERP systems, and purchase documentation
  • Excellent communication, time management, and analytical skills
