Job Summary:

The Manager/Senior Manager - WRB Segments Finance is a key leadership role within the Business Performance Operations (BPO) finance function, driving financial performance and contributing to strategic initiatives of the
Wealth & Retail Banking (WRB) business
. With a global footprint and serving over 11 million clients, this role involves collaborating with CFOs and delivering insightful analysis that supports decision-making and enhances the company's financial outlook.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic actions in collaboration with stakeholders to drive business performance aligned with the Bank's strategic priorities.
  • Lead the finance business partner team to provide standard performance management information (MI) and conduct analytics deep dives to enhance business performance.
  • Manage the FP&A process by implementing industry best practices in performance management, forecasting, and business analytics.
  • Support the delivery of performance analysis and presentations for Group Segments, including investor meetings and annual reports.
  • Drive continuous process improvement to enhance efficiency and control in all FP&A activities.
  • Inspire and motivate finance teams to achieve their potential while fostering a culture of high performance.
  • Establish governance frameworks around standard MI, internal controls, and adherence to risk appetites.

Requirements:

  • MBA, CA, CFA, ACCA with a minimum of 8 Years of experience in the financial services industry, including 5+ years of people management.
  • Strong understanding of WRB client segments and a strategic mindset towards FP&A activities.
  • Expertise in management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Demonstrated experience in financial and profitability modeling for informed decision-making.
  • Exceptional skills in creating impactful presentations for senior management.
  • Ability to lead high-performing teams in complex, multicultural environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management competencies, capable of influencing and building credibility with senior executives.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in private banking or affluent client segments.
  • Expertise in digital reporting tools and data transformation techniques.
  • Proven track record of leading successful strategic initiatives within financial institutions.
  • Advanced understanding of macroeconomic factors impacting P&L and balance sheets.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to foster collaboration across various teams and functions.
