We are looking for an experienced 
Fullstack MERN Tech Lead
 to drive architecture, scalability, and delivery for our product team. This is not just a coding role — you will 
design systems, mentor developers, and ensure end-to-end product success
.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of scalable applications using 
    MERN stack (My-sql/MongoDB, Express, React, )
  • Architect solutions with microservices/macro services
    , ensuring performance, security, and scalability
  • Own system design, API strategy, deployments, and devops pipelines
  • Mentor the team, review code, enforce best practices, and drive Agile delivery
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and QA teams

Required Skills & Expertise
1. Core MERN Stack

  • MongoDB
     – schema design, indexing, aggregation pipeline, sharding
  •  – middleware, routing, CORS, security headers
  •  – Redux/Zustand, hooks, SSR with 
  •  – async programming, streams, clustering, scaling

2. Backend & APIs

  • REST API design & versioning
  • GraphQL
     (Apollo, Hasura)
  • Auth: 
    JWT, OAuth2, SSO
  • API gateway tools: Kong, Express Gateway, NGINX
  • Caching: Redis, Memcached

3. Architecture & Scalability

  • Microservices: 
    Docker, Kubernetes, Istio, Linkerd, gRPC, Kafka, RabbitMQ
  • Macro services & modular monoliths: NestJS, Spring Boot (exposure beneficial)
  • Event-driven architecture: Apache Kafka, AWS SNS/SQS, Pulsar
  • Load balancing: NGINX, HAProxy, AWS ALB/ELB, Traefik
  • SaaS multi-tenancy: PostgreSQL schemas, MongoDB Atlas, DynamoDB
  • Service discovery/config: Consul, etcd, HashiCorp Vault
  • CDN & edge: Cloudflare, AWS CloudFront, Fastly

4. DevOps & Deployment

  • Docker, Kubernetes, Helm
  • CI/CD: GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins
  • Cloud: AWS (EKS, ECS, S3, EC2, RDS), GCP, Azure
  • Monitoring/logging: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Loki
  • IaC: Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi

5. System Design & Operations

  • High-level design (fault-tolerant, high-availability systems)
  • Database expertise: 
    SQL (Postgres, MySQL) & NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB, Cassandra)
  • Message brokers: Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS
  • PMS tools: Jira, Trello, Asana, ClickUp
  • Git workflows: Gitflow, trunk-based, monorepos (Nx, Turborepo)

6. Programming Languages & Fundamentals

  • JavaScript, TypeScript
     (mandatory)
  • Exposure to 
    C/C++ fundamentals
     (memory management, performance tuning)
  • Solid 
    DSA skills
     for real-world problem solving

7. Leadership & Team Skills

  • Code review, mentoring, and technical guidance
  • Agile/Scrum practices (sprint planning, backlog grooming)
  • Strong communication & documentation culture

8. Nice-to-Haves

  • Serverless: 
    AWS Lambda, Firebase Functions
  • Real-time apps: WebSockets,
  • Security best practices: OWASP, vulnerability scanning
  • AI/ML integration exposure , PyTorch serving, OpenAI APIs)

What We're Looking For

  • 7+ years experience
     in software development, with at least 
    3+ years in leadership/architect role
  • Proven track record of building scalable, production-ready systems
  • Hands-on with both development and DevOps
  • Strong problem solver with ability to balance tech vision with delivery
