Role & responsibilities
Job Title: Assistant Manager - Sales
Locations: Pune, Nashik, Bangalore & Guwahati 
Reporting to: Zonal Sales Manager
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for assigned product lines (PV/CV/TSE, 2W, 3W).
 - Generate and qualify leads through cold calling, field visits, and online platforms.
 - Close high-value deals with OEMs, large accounts, and project clients.
 - Identify new business opportunities and develop key customer relationships.
 
Dealer & Channel Management
- Support and manage dealer networks, monitor sales performance, and ensure stock/inventory health.
 - Guide dealer engineers with sales planning, customer visits, technical support, and negotiations.
 - Conduct monthly dealer performance analysis and channel partner reviews.
 - Appoint new dealers and ensure all agreements and documentation are in place.
 
Sales Reporting & Market Intelligence
- Maintain updated sales MIS and track all sales activities, including visits, enquiries, and closures.
 - Provide regular market insights and competitor intelligence for better strategic decisions.
 - Update monthly performance KPIs and implement corrective actions as required.
 
Desired Profile; Education:
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Automobile, Electrical or related Engineering discipline.
 
Experience:
- Minimum 3+ years in sales of garage equipment, 2W, 3W products, batteries, tyres, lubes, or capital equipment.
 - Hands-on experience in direct and Channel sales, project handling, and key account management.
