Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to manage end-to-end project accounting for construction projects. The role involves budgeting, cost control, cash flow management, and preparation of financial reports while ensuring compliance with construction-specific accounting standards. The candidate will work closely with project managers and senior management to monitor costs and support financial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage project-wise accounting, budgeting, and cost control
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Monitor cash flow and fund utilization for construction projects
  • Reconcile bank, vendor, and project accounts
  • Handle vendor bills, payments, and statutory deductions
  • Conduct job cost analysis and report cost variances
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory regulations
  • Coordinate with project managers for expense tracking and forecasting
  • Support audits and provide financial data to senior management

Education Qualification

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Experience Required

  • Minimum 3+ years of accounting experience
  • Construction / Builders / Developers industry experience preferred

Preferred Skills

  • Strong knowledge of project accounting and cost control
  • Experience with Tally / ERP systems
  • Good understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills
  • Ability to work independently at project sites

Candidate Preference

  • Native Kerala candidates preferred
  • Willingness to relocate to Meghalaya
