The role will be in one of the different teams in GDI&A(Manufacturing Analytics).

§ Potential candidates should possess a strong analytical mindset and be very comfortable with processing and manipulating large data sets in various formats.

§ Hands-on Expertise in Python programming and experience in handling various data science libraries (Pandas, Numpy, Scipy) would be a necessary requirement

§ Familiarity with analytics methods (descriptive/predictive/prescriptive) and Business Intelligence tools (Python-Matplotlib, PowerBI, QlikSense) would be a definite plus.

§ Exposure to Cloud technologies (e.g., Google Cloud), including executing Machine Learning algorithms on Cloud would be definite plus.

§ Candidates should display interest and initiative in translating a business problem into an analytical problem and determining the appropriate analytical methods to be used.

  • BE, B.Tech, M.S. or Ph.D. in Engineering, Computer Science, Operations research, Statistics, Applied mathematics, or in a related field
  • Minimum of 2+ years' experience in Python programming language
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in using machine learning & Business Intelligence tools and techniques such as Machine Learning (Clustering/classification/decision trees, Random forests, Support vector machines, Deep Learning, Neural networks, Reinforcement learning, and other numerical algorithms), Business Intelligence (Power BI, Engineer KPIs, Tableau, Qliksense)
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) / other Cloud platforms including VertexAI, BigQuery, DBT, NoSQL database and Hadoop Ecosystem
