Primary Job Title:
Data Analyst (On-site, India)

Role & Responsibilities

  • Design, write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract, transform and validate data from transactional and analytical databases.
  • Build and maintain automated ETL processes and clean datasets using Python (pandas) and Excel to support recurring reporting needs.
  • Create interactive dashboards and executive reports in Power BI and Tableau that surface key metrics, trends and root-cause analysis.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis, A/B testing and statistical summarisation to answer business questions and recommend data-backed actions.
  • Implement data-quality checks, monitor KPI health, and document data lineage to ensure accuracy and reproducibility of insights.
  • Partner with product, operations and commercial stakeholders to define metrics, translate requirements into analytics deliverables, and present findings to non-technical audiences.

Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have

  • Proficiency in SQL for analytical queries and data modelling
  • Practical experience with Python (pandas) for data wrangling and automation
  • Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and lookups
  • Experience building dashboards and visual reports in Power BI or Tableau
  • Strong knowledge of data validation, ETL concepts and KPI instrumentation
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline or equivalent practical analytics experience

Preferred

  • Familiarity with cloud data platforms or modern warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery)
  • Experience with BI modelling tools or semantic layers (Looker/Metabase)
