Key Responsibilities:*

• Work closely with Business Unit head in defining strategy for the BU
• Responsible & accountable for engineering execution and deliveries for customer projects across globe
• Work proactively with different stake holders in the organization for successful execution and project reporting
• Work proactively with HR team for hiring talented and capable engineers to fulfil the business needs
• Mentor the teams' growth & create a conducive environment in the BU for their success
• Support sales team in customer facing activities, proposal preparation to win business

*Job Summary:*

• We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Program Manager with a background in the automotive industry and expertise in Agile methodologies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex software projects, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining high-quality standards. Knowledge of HIL/SIL, ISO Functional Safety), Jira , and GitHub is highly desirable.

*Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:*

• Lead and manage end-to-end software development projects in the automotive domain, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer requirements.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.

*Agile Implementation:*

• Drive Agile practices and methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) across cross-functional teams.
• Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
• Ensure continuous improvement by identifying and addressing bottlenecks in the development process.

*Stakeholder Collaboration:*

• Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including engineering teams, product managers, and customers.
• Communicate project status, risks, and mitigation plans effectively to all stakeholders.

*Compliance And Standards:*

• Ensure compliance with automotive industry standards, particularly ISO 26262 for functional safety.
• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure adherence to safety and regulatory requirements.

*Tool Proficiency:*

• Utilize Jira for project tracking, backlog management, and reporting.
• Leverage GitHub for version control, code reviews, and collaboration.

*Risk Management:*

• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks throughout the development lifecycle.
• Proactively address issues to minimize impact on project timelines and deliverables.

*Team Leadership:*

• Mentor and guide cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Promote a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous learning.

*Qualifications:*

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

*Experience:*

• Overall 10years of experience in which 5+ years of experience in software project/program management, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Experience with automotive embedded systems and software.
• Good understanding of Agile methodologies and tools (Scrum, Kanban, Jira, etc.).
• Familiarity with ISO 26262 and its application in automotive software development.
• Experience with version control systems like GitHub .

*Skills:*

• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of automotive software development processes and tools.

*Good-to-Have:*

• Certification in Agile (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster, SAFe Agilist).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of other automotive standards like AUTOSAR, ASPICE, etc.
• Working knowledge with HIL/SIL
