  • Billing & Cash Handling
  • Generate and issue bills for OPD consultations, diagnostics, pharmacy, and minor procedures.
  • Ensure accuracy in billing entries, rates, and applicable discounts.
  • Handle cash, card, and online payments with accountability.
  • Prepare daily cash collection reports and deposit summaries.
  • Patient Coordination
  • Guide patients and attendants regarding billing queries, package inclusions, and outstanding payments.
  • Coordinate with doctors, diagnostics, and pharmacy for correct billing.
  • Maintain high levels of patient satisfaction by reducing wait time in billing counters.
  • System & Documentation
  • Enter all patient billing data accurately in Hospital Information System (HIS).
  • Maintain OPD registers, invoices, receipts, and reconciliations.
  • Ensure proper documentation for discounts, refunds, and cancellations with approvals.
  • Compliance & Audit
  • Follow hospital billing policies and financial SOPs.
  • Comply with NABH and statutory requirements for billing documentation.
  • Assist in internal and external audits by providing accurate records.
