Job Description GCC Recruitment and Onboarding Lead

Role Objective

The GCC Recruitment and Onboarding Lead will lead and optimize the recruitment and onboarding processes for the GCC across all Jindal Group entities. This role entails developing and implementing innovative recruitment strategies to attract top talent, build a robust talent pipeline, and ensure seamless integration of new hires. The lead will stay abreast of industry trends to continually enhance recruitment effectiveness and support strategic workforce planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruitment Strategy Development: Design and implement innovative recruitment strategies to attract high-quality candidates across diverse functions within Jindal Group
  • Talent Acquisition: Lead end-to-end recruitment processes, including creating job descriptions, sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and managing offer negotiations
  • Candidate Experience: Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey by maintaining clear communication, timely updates, and providing insights into Jindal Group's culture and values
  • Onboarding and Integration: Facilitate the onboarding process across all grades, including initiating medical checks, analyzing assessment reports, managing pre-onboarding communication, and ensuring SAP data tagging
  • Campus Recruitment: Guide the consolidation of requirements for campus recruitment, manage engagement with College Placement committees, and oversee the technical interview process and logistical arrangements
  • MIS and Data Management: Oversee the creation of monthly reports based on recruitment activities, ensuring data management and audit coordination are effectively aligned with strategic goals
  • Stakeholder and Team Engagement: Collaborate with plant HR SPOCs and user departments to align recruitment strategies with business needs, providing necessary resources and support to empower team members
  • Recruitment Process Evaluation and Enhancement: Continuously evaluate and diagnose recruitment effectiveness, using data insights to recommend process improvements and align with industry standards
  • Compliance: Ensure all recruitment and onboarding activities comply with legal regulations and company policies
  • Reporting and Analytics: Provide regular updates and analytics on recruitment metrics, progress, and trends to leadership teams

Job Specifications

Experience

  • Minimum years of industry experience preferably in the steel and power industry and leading recruitment and onboarding processes
  • Strong understanding of recruitment best practices, sourcing strategies, and candidate assessment techniques
  • Proficiency in using recruitment tools, platforms, and applicant tracking systems (ATS)

Qualification

  • Master's degree in human resources or a related field

Certifications

  • Professional certifications in the field of HR or recruitment are preferable

  • Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and processes quickly
  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment platforms to identify and engage potential candidates efficiently
  • Basic knowledge of financial documents and terminology to understand organizational needs and support hiring decisions
