We are seeking a Head Internal Audit to lead and strengthen the organization's internal audit function. The role involves designing, implementing, and monitoring a robust audit framework across plants, HO, and group entities to ensure compliance, process efficiency, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive internal audit plans covering all operational, financial, and compliance areas.
  • Review and strengthen internal controls, policies, and systems to ensure accuracy and transparency.
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify potential control gaps and recommend corrective actions.
  • Perform plant audits, inventory verification, and process audits across multiple manufacturing units.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of cost control measures, working capital management, and financial reporting systems.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, company policies, and corporate governance standards.
  • Present audit findings, risk observations, and recommendations to the CFO and Board Audit Committee.
  • Liaise with external auditors and support in statutory and tax audit processes.
  • Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and accountability across departments.
  • Build and lead an internal audit team, fostering a culture of transparency and continuous improvement.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • CA Qualified with 20–25 years of post-qualification experience in Internal Audit.
  • Must have worked in manufacturing setups — preferably metals, auto components, or process industries.
  • Proven track record of leading audit teams and managing multi-location audits.
  • Strong understanding of SAP-based systems, internal controls, and risk management frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • High integrity, detail orientation, and ability to work independently with senior leadership.
