About the Role:

We are hiring an
Internal Auditor
for one of our reputable clients. The role involves conducting financial, operational, and compliance audits while ensuring internal controls are consistently followed across functions. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to travel internationally for periodic audit reviews.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct internal audits to evaluate financial controls, operational efficiency, risk areas, and policy compliance.
  • Review financial statements, accounting entries, and supporting documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Identify process gaps, recommend improvements, and track implementation of corrective actions.
  • Ensure adherence to internal processes, statutory requirements, and relevant regulatory standards.
  • Prepare clear, detailed audit reports and present findings to management.
  • Coordinate with finance, operations, and compliance teams for audit activities.
  • Travel internationally (Africa) for audit assignments for 3–4 months annually.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in
    Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
    .
  • 1–2 years of experience in
    Internal Audit, Statutory Audit, or Compliance Audits
    .
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, internal controls, and financial compliance standards.
  • Proficiency in
    MS Excel
    and accounting tools such as
    Tally, Infozeal, Busy
    , or similar software.
  • Excellent analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage timelines, and maintain accuracy.
