Experience: 10 years above till 18 years ONLY.

Preferably work experience from a Technical College background.

We are looking for a Dean of Academics for a College(Engineering/Polytechnic) who has a vision to develop curriculum that meets the growing needs of the manufacturing industries while including the requirements of the Board.

THE JOB

  1. Develop curriculum based on current technological theory and best industrial practices.

  2. Incorporate critical inquiry, collaborative and project based learning into the curriculum

  3. Develop lesson plans, tests, verbal and visual instructional materials linked wiht real time industrial issues

  4. Develop projects with the students based on finding solutions to some of the simple problems they encounter in the industries during their inplant training

  5. Coordinate a team of content developers in different domains

  6. Monitor the quality of delivery in the class room

  7. Assess and understand the needs of teachers and provide necessary training in content material to update their knowledge.

  8. Get feed back from industries and fine tune the curriculum

THE PERSON should have

  1. 10 years of experience in teaching and curriculum development. Should be a specialist in one of the following streams – Mechanical/ Mechatronics / Robotics

  2. Developed programs for training in an industry based training center OR in a an Advanced Training Industrial Institute

  3. A BE/ME in one of the above mentioned domains

  4. Conversant with curricular practices and standards of quality followed in state of the art institutions in India/ Singapore / Germany/ Austria

  5. A good knowledge of practices and standards of quality followed in state of the art industries

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹60, ₹95,625.07 per month
