The Dean will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the school,promoting excellence in teaching, research, and community engagement.● Strategic Leadership:Develop and implement a strategic vision for the School of Psychology and Counseling, aligning with the university's overall mission and goals.● Academic Excellence:Oversee curriculum development, academic programs, and accreditation processes to ensure high standards of teaching, learning, and student outcomes.● Faculty Development:Recruit, mentor, and retain a diverse and highly qualified faculty. Promote faculty research, scholarship, and professional development.● Research and Innovation:Encourage and support cutting-edge research and interdisciplinary collaboration within the fields of psychology and counseling. Secure funding and resources to enhance research initiatives.● Student Success: Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment. Develop initiatives to enhance student engagement, retention, and success in both undergraduate and graduate programs.Qualifications:● A doctoral degree in psychology, Finance, Commerce, Economics or a related field is required.● At least 10 years of academic experience in higher education, with a track record of leadership.● A distinguished record of research, scholarship, and professional contributions to the field of psychology or counseling.
