Specify and select appropriate electrical equipment (transformers, MCCs, switchgear, VFDs, motors, UPS, lighting systems).Perform power system studies (load flow, short circuit, arc flash analysis)Prepare technical specifications and support procurement of electrical equipment
Develop and execute pre-commissioning and commissioning plansQualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
At least 5–8 years' experience in electrical design, installation, and maintenance in water treatment, desalination, or similar process plants Familiarity with medium-voltage (MV) and low-voltage (LV) distribution systems. Strong knowledge of motor control centers (MCC), VFDs, soft starters, and large pump/motor systems. Proficient in electrical drafting software (AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP, or similar)Understanding of SCADA system integration from an electrical point of view.
Experience in grounding, lightning protection, and cathodic protection systems. Knowledge of energy efficiency principles and power factor correction methods
Strong written and verbal communication
