JOB DESCRIPTION

Location – Shuttle between Palghar (Factory) & Andheri Office

Job Summary:

The SAP Business One Technical Manager is responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of SAP Business One customization, and maintenance within the organization. This role involves ensuring the system meets the business requirements, and optimizing performance and usability. The manager will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and external partners to deliver effective ERP solutions.

Strong exposure & expertise of manufacturing industry is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership
:

·      Proactively identify and address technical challenges, ensuring the stability and efficiency of the overall technology environment.

·      Ensure adherence to best practices and standards in system customization and development.

End-to-End Technology Management:

·      Take ownership of overall technological requirements, encompassing both hardware and software aspects

Collaborate with vendors and stakeholders to assess, recommend, and implement new technologies that align with organizational objectives.

System Development and Customization:

·      Development of custom modules, reports, and integrations with SAP B1.

·      Ensure that customizations and enhancements align with business processes and requirements.

·      Manage the deployment of patches, updates, and new releases.

Project Management:

·      Plan and execute SAP B1 projects, including upgrades, migrations, and new implementations.

·      Define project scope, timelines, and resources in collaboration with stakeholders.

·      Oversee system performance monitoring and troubleshooting

·      Ensure the security, integrity, and availability of SAP B1 environments.

·      Provide technical support and training to end-users and IT staff

Collaboration and Communication:

·      Work closely with all stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.

·      Maintain effective communication with senior management

·      Continuous Improvement

·      Stay updated on the latest SAP B1 developments, technologies, and industry trends.

·      Identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements.

·      Implement best practices for system development, testing, and deployment.

Technical Skills:

·      At least 2-3 implementation experience.

· years of experience in a managerial or leadership role within an ERP environment.

·      Strong knowledge of SQL and database management systems (e.g., SQL Server).

·      Experience with Crystal Reports and other reporting tools.

·      Proven experience as an SAP Business One Implementer with a deep understanding of its functionalities.

·      Extensive experience with enterprise software solutions and a demonstrated ability to manage multiple software applications.

·      Proficiency in handling overall technological requirements, including hardware and software components.

·      Relevant certifications in SAP Business One and network administration will be advantageous

·      Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Soft Skills:

Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Project management capabilities and experience with methodologies like Agile or Waterfall.

Certifications:

SAP Business One Certification is a plus.

Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification is a plus.

Work Environment:

Office-based with occasional travel to other company locations

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
