The Application Engineer (Mechanical) acts as the technical bridge between customers, sales, and engineering. This role focuses on understanding customer requirements, designing and configuring mechanical solutions, providing technical support, and ensuring that products are correctly applied and implemented in real-world applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with customers to understand technical requirements and application needs.
  • Recommend, design, and configure mechanical solutions based on customer specifications.
  • Support the sales team with technical presentations, proposals, and feasibility studies.
  • Prepare technical documentation including drawings, calculations, and specifications.
  • Perform mechanical analysis, sizing, and selection of components and systems.
  • Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support.
  • Troubleshoot field issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with R&D and manufacturing teams to improve products and resolve design challenges.
  • Ensure solutions comply with relevant industry standards and customer requirements.
  • Assist in product testing, validation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in application engineering, mechanical design, or technical sales support (experience level may vary).
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Solid Edge, AutoCAD, or similar).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.

Pay: ₹15, ₹20,000.00 per month
