We are looking for an experienced Laser Application Engineer to lead projects in Laser Welding, Marking, and Automation Applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in developing laser-based proof of concepts, finalizing specifications, and implementing solutions across diverse metal and non-metal substrates.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Work as an Application Engineer for laser systems from specification finalization to type selection.
  • Develop and prove Proof of Concept (POC) for Laser Welding, Marking, and Ablation applications.
  • Provide expertise on laser processes for metals and non-metals, ensuring high precision and repeatability.
  • Exposure to laser-based measurement techniques (added advantage).
  • Hands-on experience in laser-based automation solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of precision laser welding for small parts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system integration, validation, and optimization.

Preferred Candidate Profile

  • Education: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics.
  • Experience: 8–13 years in Laser Applications/Automation.
  • Preference for candidates with background in Laser Source Manufacturers (e.g., IPG, Keyence, Trumpf) or Laser Equipment System Integrators.
  • Strong problem-solving, design validation, and communication skills.
