Job Summary
The Administrative Officer will be responsible for managing and coordinating day-to-day
administrative operations at the corporate office of a chemical manufacturing company. The
role ensures smooth office functioning, compliance with statutory and safety norms, vendor
management, facility upkeep, and administrative support to senior management.
Key Responsibilities
Office Administration & Facility Management
• Oversee daily administrative operations of the corporate office at Nariman Point.
• Manage office facilities, housekeeping, security, pantry, and maintenance services.
• Coordinate with building management for compliance, repairs, and utilities.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and compliant office environment, aligned with corporate and
statutory standards.
Vendor & Asset Management
• Identify, negotiate, and manage vendors for admin-related services (housekeeping,
security, transport, stationery, repairs, etc.).
• Maintain records of office assets, AMC agreements, and inventory.
• Monitor service quality and ensure timely renewals of contracts and licenses.
Compliance & Documentation
• Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements, office safety norms, and internal
policies.
• Maintain administrative documentation, records, and MIS reports.
• Support audits related to administration and corporate compliance.
Travel & Logistics Support
• Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements for senior management.
• Manage guest coordination, hotel bookings, and office events or meetings.
Qualifications & Experience
• Education: Graduate in any discipline (MBA / Diploma in Administration preferred).
• Experience: 15 years of relevant experience in corporate administration, preferably
in manufacturing, chemical, or regulated industries.
Skills & Competencies
• Strong knowledge of office administration and facility management.
• Familiarity with statutory compliance, safety norms, and vendor management.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
• High level of integrity, discretion, and attention to detail.
