As Chief Learning Officer (CLO), you will be entrusted with leading the day-to-day operations, mentoring a high-performing team, ensuring curriculum fidelity, and cultivating strong relationships with families and the broader community. Your leadership will be instrumental in translating the vision into daily practice and lasting impact.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Centre Operations & Administration a. Oversee all aspects of centre functioning to ensure smooth, efficient, and joyful daily operations. b. Maintain the highest standards of safety, hygiene, and child-friendly infrastructure, aligned with protocols. c. Manage budgets, procurement, vendor relationships, logistics, and overall resource planning. d. Monitor compliance with statutory and regulatory frameworks related to preschool operations.

  2. Team Leadership & Staff Development a. Build and nurture a values-aligned teaching and caregiving team, fostering collaboration and excellence. b. Facilitate induction, performance reviews, and professional development for all staff. c. Create a culture of ongoing reflection, growth, and pedagogical innovation. Ensure adequate staffing, effective delegation, and cross-functional coordination.

3. Academic Oversight & Program Quality

Ensure the implementation of progressive, play-based curriculum with fidelity. b. Uphold academic and developmental standards through routine observation, feedback, and quality audits. c. Track child learning outcomes, guide assessment practices, and support lesson planning. d. Partner with the Academics Team to continuously raise the bar for teaching learning quality.

4. Family & Community Engagement
a. Act as the face of the centre, nurturing trust and transparency with parents and caregivers. b. Lead family onboarding, orientation sessions, PTMs, and regular communication touchpoints. c. Organise parent engagement events, open houses, and showcase sessions. d. Address concerns and feedback promptly, with empathy and professionalism. 5. Strategic Collaboration & Stakeholder Alignment a. Liaise with internal teams, including Curriculum, Training, HR, Marketing, and Corporate Childcare for integrated service delivery. b. Support business development efforts through local outreach, visibility, and enrolment conversion. c. Represent with integrity and confidence at public events, walkthroughs, and audits.

Qualifications & Background

  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Early Childhood Education, Education Management, Psychology, or a related field.

  2. Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience in a senior leadership or supervisory role in early years or K-12 education.

  3. Experience in managing preschool/childcare centres or premium academic setups is highly preferred.

  4. Proven ability to balance academic integrity with operational efficiency.
