As a Qualcomm Software Test Engineer, you will design, develop, create, and modify test cases and validate embedded software, cloud software, system algorithms, application software, automation, and/or specialized utility programs that launch cutting-edge, world class products. Qualcomm Software Test Engineers collaborate across various engineering teams and functions to design and implement test plans.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.Exp: 1 to 3 yrTittle: EngineerLocation HYDTypical Duties And ResponsibilitiesExposure to Linux Android environment and involve in test automation using Python / Perl/ shell scriptingManual and automated testing on SoCsExposure to Performance, Sanity or Stability testingCreate test automation frameworks in collaboration with team membersAI /ML based Test methodologiesCross team collaboration with engineer across board and enhance the test plansShould be able to test & automate embedded devices ( preferably Mobile/IoT/Auto )Required Skills And QualificationsStrong scripting skills in Python, Perl, or a related languageLinux OS fundamentals and understanding of Linux kernel, boot process, memory management, process management etc. and exposure to Linux CLI.Knowledge of automation technologies and testing on QCOM SOCs is a plusExcellent communication and documentation skillsApplicants: Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
