Job Description We are seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Engineer with 1-2 years of experience in 3D modeling & 2D drafting to join our Design/R&D Team. The role is interesting for a person willing to understand, learn & develop new products from scratch from product modeling perspective. The products are categorized under special purpose machines so learning & working on the same will definitely add value for a young professional looking technical growth & raise the bar of learning curve.

Prerequisites:

• SolidWorks / SolidEdge – 3D modeling, 2D drafting:

Expectation:

• To be able to handle work order/RFQ work independently.
• MS Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• To able to create office documentation related to design/r&d department independently.

Requirements :

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering 1-2 years of experience in product design and development, preferably in a manufacturing environment Knowledge of GD&T principles and their application in design Familiarity with ECN/ECR/ECO processes and any PLM software.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes would definitely have additional advantage Familiarity with design for manufacturing and assembly (DFMA) principles.

Job Responsibilities :

• 3D modeling/2D drafting of new products (EM brakes, clutches), including mechanical components and assemblies.
• Apply GD&T principles to optimize product performance and ensure proper fit and functions Technical documentation including drawings, specifications, and product catalogues, to support product development.
• Work with PLM (product lifecycle management) software to manage product data and ensure data integrity.
• Manage engineering change requests (ECRs) to ensure timely and accurate implementation of design changes.
