About the Role

We're looking for a creative and strategic Content & Community Marketer to grow Everstage's professional communities: UNCAPPD (for Sales Comp professionals) and other communities we will be building from the ground up. This role is ideal for someone strong in content creation who wants to expand into community building. You will own how Everstage shows up across both communities, creating content, sparking conversations, and shaping memorable experiences.

The goal is to make Everstage's communities a household name for GTM and Sales Comp professionals.

What You'll Do

Own the Content Engine

  1. Create high-quality content for both community and social channels, including member stories, discussion prompts, newsletters, event recaps, and thought leadership pieces.
  2. Collaborate with Marketing, CS, and Product to source stories and insights that resonate with our audiences.
  3. Manage editorial calendars for community and social content, ensuring consistency with brand tone and message.

Build and Nurture the Communities

  1. Manage daily operations of our Slack communities: moderate discussions, welcome new members, and maintain a positive environment.
  2. Design the structure and workflows of the community, such as channels, groups, and permissions that make engagement easy and meaningful.
  3. Develop programs that inspire participation, like AMAs, spotlights, challenges, polls, and themed discussions.

Drive Engagement Through Events

  1. Plan and host virtual and in-person events, including webinars, roundtables, and social meetups that connect members and strengthen Everstage's brand.
  2. Source and secure speakers, partners, and collaborators from within the community and the wider GTM ecosystem.
  3. Build strong relationships with community champions, ambassadors, and advocates.

Grow Reach and Visibility

  1. Build Everstage's voice across social platforms and in external communities such as LinkedIn, Reddit, and Slack groups through authentic participation.
  2. Partner with Marketing to repurpose community conversations into social proof, thought leadership, and brand campaigns.
  3. Use storytelling to shape how Everstage is perceived by GTM and Sales Comp professionals.

Measure and Improve

  1. Be analytical and metrics-driven, someone who consistently measures community performance (growth, engagement, satisfaction) and uses data to improve outcomes.
  2. Track key metrics such as member activity, content engagement, and event participation, translating insights into action plans.

What You'll Bring

  1. 2 to 4 years of experience in content marketing, social media, or community marketing, preferably in B2B SaaS.
  2. Proven ability to create engaging content for professional audiences.
  3. Strong understanding of how storytelling builds engagement and brand affinity.
  4. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  5. Highly organised and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  6. A collaborative mindset and experience working across Marketing, CS, and Product teams.
  7. Natural curiosity for people and conversations, and the ability to connect ideas across communities.
  8. A builder's mindset, eager to experiment, learn, and shape something from the ground up.
  9. Familiarity with community platforms such as Slack, Discord, or Circle and event formats such as webinars or meetups.

  2. Consistent content and programs that members look forward to participating in.
  3. Growing brand visibility and trust within GTM and Sales Comp communities.

  5. Everstage's community becomes the go-to hub for GTM and Sales Comp professionals.
