Senior Developer - Web Application Development

• Design, develop, and implement web applications and web services using Java, J2EE, JSP, Springboot, MVC Framework, Hibernate, and MySQL/RDBMS
• Collaborate with team members to analyze and implement complex changes, ensuring adherence to design specifications and quality standards
• Conduct user needs assessments, provide training, and offer guidance/consultation to promote user adoption of new technologies and applications
• Stay up-to-date with the latest development approaches and technologies, and integrate them into your work to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our development processes
• Respond promptly to production application or systems issues, working diligently to analyze and resolve them. This may require being on call during off-hours and holidays.
• Play an active role in application modernization and transformation efforts, ensuring seamless business operations and continuous improvement
• Independently design code and test major features, demonstrating exceptional debugging and troubleshooting abilities
• Collaborate effectively with team members to successfully implement complex changes, mentor junior members of the team and lead projects implementations
• Follow agile IT processes, collaborating closely with the business to swiftly address any problems that arise

The following are required for the role

• Bachelor//'s or Master//'s degree in Computer Science, Business, Math, Engineering, or a related field
• Oevrall of 7+ years of in-depth experience in both Business and Technical development
• Strong technical skills of the technology stack including Java, J2EE, JSP, Springboot, MVC Framework, Hibernate, MySQL/RDBMS, and App server knowledge (Tomcat/JBoss)
• Excellent core Java and J2EE skills coupled with expertise in Object Oriented design and knowledge of design patterns, WebServices/APIS (REST/SOAP)
• Proficiency in UI Technologies such as HTML, JS, CSS, jQuery, Bootstrap is expected along with familiarity with any one of the popular JS frameworks (Angular/React/Vue JS etc.)
• Thorough comprehension of Core Java Language concepts including Collections, Concurrency/Multi-Threading issues application-wide focusing on performance optimization addressing critical aspects like security measures for transaction management
• Hands-on experience of min 3-4 web apps development as Java Full Stack, deployment, hosting, monitoring of applications(Exposure to Cloud preferably Azure will be added advantage)
• Expertise in developing web and mobile responsive applications, optimizing performance, and configuring servers and threads
• Broad understanding of web and digital technologies, adept at troubleshooting and problem-solving, and capable of mentoring team members
• Proven ability to comprehend customer business processes and develop appropriate solutions, document functional & technical design appropriately
• Result-driven with a positive attitude - adaptable, flexible, and resourceful. Preferably 2+ years of experience as a technical/track lead in implementation or overall IT project support.
• Ability to think conceptually and analytically - extracting, analyzing, and documenting complex business and technical requirements/strategies from customers and IT teammates.
• Knowledgeable about design patterns, software development life cycle (SDLC), and Agile methodologies.
• Experience working in offshore/onshore models as well as collaborating with virtual teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• High sense of responsibility and accountability, demonstrated success in teamwork and effective collaboration with others

Additional Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in web application development, Java, cloud computing, and front-end technologies
• Experience working in a global organization with diverse technologies
• Familiarity or knowledge of B2B/B2C applications or content management system (CMS) based digital marketing applications would be advantageous.
