Analysis: Monitoring sales data, analyzing market trends, and reporting on issues or shortages to management. Store and supplier relations: Collaborating with suppliers, communicating with retail staff, and sometimes training other store employees. Key skills Analytical: Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills are crucial for making informed decisions about inventory and placement. Organizational: Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are needed to manage stock and maintain displays. Communication: The ability to communicate effectively with suppliers, management, and other retail staff is essential. Commercial awareness: A love of retail and a good understanding of commercial goals and customer preferences are important for success.
