Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Service Engineer to handle the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electronic and IT-based systems such as CCTV surveillance, fire alarms, access control, and networking equipment. The candidate should be able to provide both on-site and remote technical support while ensuring customer satisfaction and timely service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and test systems (CCTV, fire alarms, PA systems, biometric devices, UPS, networking, etc.).
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of installed systems.
  • Diagnose faults, replace defective components, and restore functionality.
  • Maintain detailed service reports, installation logs, and maintenance records.
  • Coordinate with project and sales teams for system handovers.
  • Provide training and on-site technical support to clients.
  • Ensure timely closure of service requests and adherence to SLAs.
  • Follow company standards for safety, quality, and documentation.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education: Diploma / B.E. / ITI Electrician / B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related field.

Experience: 1–2 years (Freshers may apply).

Technical Skills:

  • Knowledge of CCTV, fire alarm, access control, and networking systems.
  • Familiarity with IP-based devices, NVR/DVR configuration, and network troubleshooting.
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
  • Basic computer hardware and OS knowledge.

Soft Skills:

  • Good communication and analytical skills.
  • Strong problem-solving ability.
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours.
  • Customer service orientation.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Timely completion of service tasks.
  • High customer satisfaction ratings.
  • Reduced repeat complaints and high system uptime.
  • Accurate reporting and documentation.
