KRA – Senior 3D Generalist

  1. Look Development & Environment Design

Create visually compelling and stylistically consistent environments, props, and set pieces for projects.

Collaborate with art directors to define the visual style, color palette, and mood.

Ensure all assets meet technical specifications for both real-time (Unreal) and pre-rendered (Blender) workflows.

Optimize scenes for performance without compromising visual fidelity.


  1. Character Animation & Rigging

Develop and refine rigs for characters ensuring realistic deformations.

Deliver high-quality keyframe or mocap-based character animations (body + facial).

Collaborate with storytellers/directors to ensure animation supports narrative beats.

Troubleshoot and improve animation pipelines, integrating feedback quickly.


  1. Lighting & Texturing

Lead lighting design for both cinematic and real-time scenes, creating depth and mood.

Create physically accurate textures and materials using PBR workflows.

Maintain consistency of look across multiple scenes and platforms (film, event projections, VR, AR).

Ensure textures are optimized for real-time rendering performance.


  1. 3D Motion Graphics & Simulation

Design and animate visually engaging motion graphics in 3D space (titles, transitions, data viz).

Work with particle simulations, fluids, smoke, cloth, and dynamics to create realistic effects.

Collaborate with compositing/VFX teams to integrate assets seamlessly into final output.


  1. Pipeline, Tools & Technical Leadership

Build and maintain efficient production pipelines between Blender and Unreal Engine.

Develop reusable shaders, lighting rigs, and asset libraries to speed up workflows.

Mentor junior artists and provide training on best practices and new techniques.

Stay updated on the latest tools, plugins, and techniques in 3D art and real-time production.


  1. Collaboration & Project Delivery

Partner with creative directors, producers, and developers to deliver on project vision.

Translate creative briefs into high-quality visual solutions under tight deadlines.

Provide regular progress updates, manage revisions, and ensure on-time delivery.

Uphold quality control and ensure assets pass internal and client reviews.
