Rector (Boys Hostel)

A male, with Post Graduate Degree in Management/Hospitality/General Administration (or related areas) from a reputed university or institution, as well as at least 5-7 years' experience in hostel administration. Retired military personnel could also apply.

Roles and Responsibilities of Rector: 

  • He/she will help in frame policy for running the hostels, messes & support facility required to manage the hostels.
  • Ensure maintenance of the hostel. 
  • Regular visits to the hostel Location and supervision is essential. 
  • Allocation of rooms to students as per guidelines.
  • Administer Sports and Cultural activities of students
  • Maintain discipline of the hostel as per University rules & regulations.
  • Supervise hostel regularly and interact with students.
  • Ensure adequate security, sanitation and essentials for students
  • Ensure supply of quality food in the hostel mess.
  • Provide timely medical help & first aid to the students.
  • Any other work assigned to you by the University to time-to-time.
