**Rector (Boys Hostel)**

A male, with Post Graduate Degree in Management/Hospitality/General Administration (or related areas) from a reputed university or institution, as well as at least 5-7 years’ experience in hostel administration. Retired military personnel could also apply.

**Roles and Responsibilities of Rector**:

- He/she will help in frame policy for running the hostels, messes & support facility required to manage the hostels.
- Ensure maintenance of the hostel.
- Regular visits to the hostel Location and supervision is essential.
- Allocation of rooms to students as per guidelines.
- Administer Sports and Cultural activities of students
- Maintain discipline of the hostel as per University rules & regulations.
- Supervise hostel regularly and interact with students.
- Ensure adequate security, sanitation and essentials for students
- Ensure supply of quality food in the hostel mess.
- Provide timely medical help & first aid to the students.
- Any other work assigned to you by the University to time-to-time.
