Plant Head – Dynamic Packers

Location: Near Elante Mall , Industrial Area , Phase 1 , Chandigarh

Industry: Printed Mono Cartons, Labels & Leaflets (Pharmaceutical Packaging)

Experience Required: 3–10 years (minimum 3 years in packaging or pharma-related printing industry)

We are looking for a highly skilled and accountable Plant Head to lead end-to-end operations, ensure quality excellence, and drive efficiency across the plant.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management

  • Oversee complete plant operations including printing, die-cutting, pasting, and finishing.

  • Ensure daily production targets are met with optimum utilization of manpower and machinery.

  • Implement and monitor SOPs for all production and quality processes.

Quality & Compliance

  • Maintain strict quality standards suitable for pharmaceutical packaging.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, GMP, documentation norms, and client audits.

  • Reduce rejection rates and maintain consistent product quality.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, train, and motivate production supervisors, operators, and quality teams.

  • Ensure discipline, safety, and team productivity across all shifts.

Planning & Coordination

  • Coordinate with the planning, purchase, and sales teams for smooth workflow.

  • Monitor inventory of raw materials, plates, inks, and consumables to avoid downtime.

  • Manage preventive maintenance schedules with the engineering team.

Cost & Performance Control

  • Drive cost optimization initiatives without compromising quality.

  • Monitor wastage, machine efficiency (OEE), and overall plant performance.

  • Prepare weekly and monthly MIS reports for management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong experience in carton, label, or leaflet manufacturing for pharmaceuticals.

  • Hands-on knowledge of printing machines (offset), die-cutting, lamination, and finishing equipment.

  • Proven ability to run a plant independently and lead large teams.

  • Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

  • Familiarity with QMS, ISO, GMP, and documentation protocols.
