Green Protein

is hiring an Accountant with strong e-commerce experience to own financial operations and reporting as we scale to join our team immediately.


Location:

Lower Parel, Mumbai |
Full-time | Work from Office


Work Schedule:

6 days a week (10 AM – 6 PM)

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly MIS reports including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and performance analysis.
  • Reconcile bank accounts, payment gateways, COD settlements, and marketplace (Shopify, Amazon, Shiprocket) payouts.
  • Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, PT & IT filings; support audits and statutory requirements.
  • Manage daily accounting entries, invoicing, payments, payroll, reimbursements, and expense tracking.
  • Track and report refunds, returns, discounts, chargebacks, and vendor/customer reconciliations.
  • Work with operations for inventory costing and stock reconciliation, and with marketing to validate spends.
  • Drive process improvements and automation in finance workflows.

Qualifications

  • Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
  • 2 years of hands-on accounting experience in a D2C, FMCG, or e-commerce brand.
  • Proficiency in advanced MS Excel & Tally is required.

Skills

  • Understanding of Shopify payment gateways/Amazon payouts and ecommerce financial workflows.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
  • Proactive, independent, and able to handle multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.

​​Compensation

₹4–6 LPA (depending on experience).
