Overview

A Telecaller is responsible for managing inbound and outbound calls to engage with customers, promote products or services, generate leads, and resolve customer queries. They play a vital role in enhancing customer satisfaction, achieving sales targets, and supporting overall business growth through effective communication and relationship building.

Responsibilities

  • Make outbound calls to potential customers to promote products or services.
  • Handle inbound calls, respond to customer inquiries, and provide accurate information.
  • Generate and qualify leads to support the sales team.
  • Maintain customer records by updating databases and CRM systems.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
  • Meet daily/weekly/monthly call and sales targets.
  • Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing team to align with business goals.

Requirements

  • Minimum qualification: High school diploma/graduate (any stream).
  • Prior experience as a Telecaller, Customer Service Representative, or in a similar role preferred.
  • Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills.
  • Persuasive and result-oriented with good negotiation abilities.
  • Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with MS Office/CRM tools.
  • Ability to handle rejections and remain motivated.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-first attitude.
