Position Overview:

The Farm Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day agricultural operations at
Farm Natura
, ensuring sustainable, efficient, and profitable farm practices. The role requires expertise in natural farming methods, crop planning, labor management, and farm resource optimization.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Farm Operations & Crop Management

  • Plan and implement seasonal crop cycles based on natural farming principles.
  • Supervise land preparation, sowing, irrigation, weeding, pest management, and harvesting.
  • Maintain farm equipment, tools, and irrigation systems.
  • Ensure quality control of crops and produce.

2. Labor & Resource Management

  • Assign daily tasks to farm laborers and supervise their work.
  • Train staff and laborers in natural farming techniques.
  • Monitor labor productivity and maintain attendance records.
  • Manage farm budgets, input costs, and resource allocation.

3. Sustainability & Compliance

  • Implement
    eco-friendly and chemical-free farming methods
    as per company guidelines.
  • Maintain soil health and biodiversity through organic methods.
  • Ensure compliance with local agricultural regulations.

4. Record Keeping & Reporting

  • Keep detailed records of crop yield, expenses, and farm activities.
  • Submit periodic reports to management on farm progress and challenges.
  • Track seed usage, organic inputs, and production schedules.

5. Stakeholder & Visitor Engagement

  • Coordinate with management for farm visits, training sessions, and customer tours.
  • Represent the farm during inspections, audits, and events.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Agriculture, Horticulture, or related field (preferred).
  • 3–5 years of experience in farm management (natural farming experience preferred).
  • Strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of organic farming techniques, irrigation systems, and pest control.
  • Ability to work in outdoor environments under varying weather conditions.
  • Good communication and record-keeping skills.
