Senior BackEnd Developer

Job Role & Responsibilities

Backend Development:

  1. Design, develop, and maintain server-side logic using Django.

  2. Create and manage RESTful APIs or GraphQL endpoints for seamless data exchange.

  3. Optimize backend code for speed, scalability, and security.

Database Management:

  1. Design and maintain database schemas and relationships.

  2. Write optimized queries and manage migrations using Django ORM.

  3. Ensure database security and integrity, including regular backups.

Admin Panel Development and Customization:

  1. Build and customize Django Admin interfaces for efficient data management.

  2. Develop user-friendly admin dashboards tailored to business requirements.

  3. Implement custom filters, actions, and field displays in the admin panel.

Integration and Maintenance:

  1. Integrate third-party services (e.g., payment gateways, APIs, email services).

  2. Troubleshoot and debug backend issues, ensuring smooth operations.

  3. Manage deployment and version control (e.g., Git, CI/CD pipelines).

Security and Compliance:

  1. Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms (e.g., JWT, OAuth).

  2. Secure APIs and data with best practices (e.g., encryption, CSRF, and SQL injection

prevention).

  1. Stay updated with Django and industry standards for backend security.

Skills Required

  1. Proficient in Python and the Django framework.

  2. Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, serializers, and request/response cycles.

  3. Familiarity with databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQLite.

  4. Experience with frontend technologies for admin panel integration (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

  5. Knowledge of version control systems like Git.

  6. Familiarity with Docker, Microservices, and containerization is a plus.

  7. Experience with task queues like Celery and message brokers like RabbitMQ is necessary.
