Role Overview

The Planning & Control – Product is responsible for coordinating between the sales team and production units, ensuring accurate planning, monitoring, and control of production and dispatch. The role ensures timely execution, optimal product flow, and smooth coordination between sales, production, and warehouse teams while maintaining control over inventory, production schedules, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Order Coordination

  • Receive and consolidate order requirements from the sales team.
  • Ensure clarity of product specifications, quantities, and delivery schedules before communicating to units.

Planning & Production Control

  • Convert sales requirements into actionable production plans and schedules.
  • Monitor production progress and identify bottlenecks or deviations from the plan.
  • Maintain control over production timelines, ensuring units meet scheduled targets.
  • Oversee inventory levels and stock movement to prevent shortages, overstock, or wastage.
  • Ensure quality standards are maintained at every stage of production.

Order Tracking & Updates

  • Maintain real-time order and production status reports for all active dealer orders.
  • Track dispatch schedules to ensure timely delivery and fulfillment of commitments.

Issue Resolution & Control

  • Act as the primary point of contact for discrepancies between sales orders and unit production.
  • Coordinate corrective actions for delays, material shortages, or quality issues.
  • Implement checks and controls to minimize errors, rework, or miscommunication.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare daily/weekly reports on production, dispatch, and pending orders.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to management for better planning, control, and decision-making.

Interdepartmental Coordination

  • Facilitate smooth communication between sales, production units, and warehouse teams.
  • Ensure workflow efficiency and adherence to production and delivery schedules.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
  • 2–5 years of experience in sales coordination, production planning, or dealer order management.
  • Strong coordination, communication, and follow-up skills.
  • Good understanding of footwear products, production workflow, and inventory control.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, dashboards, reporting).
  • Knowledge of ERP systems / Google Drive or shared drive management for order tracking and reporting.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25, ₹30,000.00 per month
