Production Engineer – UPVC & Aluminium Doors & Windows

Location: Calicut | Company: FERO Window | Department: UPVC & Aluminium Unit

About the Role

FERO Window is looking for a skilled and motivated Production Engineer to join our UPVC & Aluminium Doors & Windows manufacturing unit in Calicut.

This is an exciting opportunity for candidates with a strong technical background and hands-on production experience. If you are looking to grow your career, this role also offers the potential to transition into a Sales Engineer position in the future.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily production operations in the UPVC & Aluminium unit.
  • Ensure efficient utilization of manpower, machines, and raw materials.
  • Maintain product quality standards to meet company and customer expectations.
  • Plan and implement production schedules to meet delivery timelines.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production-related issues.
  • Enforce safety and quality guidelines across production processes.
  • Collaborate with design, procurement, and quality teams for smooth workflow.
  • Maintain accurate production reports and documentation.
  • Support management in process improvement initiatives.
  • Build product knowledge to prepare for future customer-facing sales responsibilities.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Graduate/Diploma in Engineering or a relevant technical discipline.
  • 2–3 years of production experience (preferably in UPVC/Aluminium fabrication or similar industry).
  • Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and cross-functional coordination.
  • Flexible and open to transitioning into a Sales Engineer role in the future.

Preferred Attributes

  • Prior experience in UPVC/Aluminium fabrication units.
  • Knowledge of production planning, scheduling, and quality control.
  • Commitment to timelines and organizational goals.
