Associate Manager - Public Relations

Role Overview

As PR Manager at Elite Marque, you will be the bridge between strategy and execution, supervising a talented account team, guiding client communications, and ensuring campaigns deliver a measurable business impact. You will bring senior-level media relationships, strategic thinking, and crisis management skills while fostering growth for both clients and your team.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning and Client Leadership

* Lead the development and execution of integrated PR strategies aligned with client objectives, brand positioning, and market trends

* Act as a trusted senior counsel to clients, providing proactive ideas and actionable insights

* Anticipate market shifts, industry trends, and potential risks to adapt strategies quickly

* Facilitate senior-level client interactions, ensuring strong relationships and long-term partnerships

Campaign Execution and Quality Oversight

* Supervise daily account operations, ensuring campaigns are delivered on time, within budget, and with measurable impact

* Review and approve all major client deliverables, including press releases, media advisories, thought leadership articles, Q&As, holding statements, speeches, and social copy

* Coordinate press events, media briefings, launches, and panel discussions to maximize exposure

* Ensure all campaigns have clear measurement frameworks and deliver against KPIs

Media and Stakeholder Engagement

* Maintain and grow strong media relationships across national, regional, and industry-specific outlets

* Identify and connect with key influencers, analysts, and sector leaders to amplify brand narratives

* Craft compelling media-ready stories that drive high-impact coverage

* Manage crisis communications from strategy development to real-time response

Business Development and Agency Growth

* Participate in new business pitches, including idea generation, proposal development, and presentations

* Contribute to case studies, award submissions, and marketing campaigns for the agency

* Spot and develop organic growth opportunities within existing accounts

Team Development and Leadership

* Mentor and coach junior team members, ensuring skills development and high-quality output

* Track their progress, leadership skills, hiring, and building your department. Encourage insight-led, data-backed thinking across teams

* Delegate effectively, maintaining accountability and ensuring clarity of expectations

* Foster a positive high performance culture that values collaboration and ownership

Requirements:

* 2 to 8 years in public relations, preferably with agency experience

* Proven track record in media relations, strategic communications, and crisis management

* Strong sector exposure in Tech, BFSI, Startups, Corporate, or Green Energy

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a flair for storytelling

* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines

* Leadership experience managing teams and overseeing multiple accounts

* Familiarity with digital PR, influencer marketing, and social media amplification
