HR Payroll Specialist
About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our HR team in the
organisation. The ideal candidate will be responsible to timely and accurate payroll processing,
ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, timely payments, accurate reporting and respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees.
Key Responsibilities:
Process end-to-end payroll on a monthly basis for all employees.
Process payroll accurately and on time for all employees in compliance with internal policies
and statutory requirements.
Maintain payroll records including new hires, terminations, bonuses, approve pay
adjustments and deductions.
Ensure adherence to labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies related to payroll.
Coordinate with HR and finance teams to validate timesheets, attendance, and benefits.
Prepare and submit statutory fiings (PF, ESI, PT, TDS, etc.) and ensure timely disbursements.
Reconcile payroll data and resolve discrepancies or employee queries promptly.
Generate monthly and annual payroll reports for internal and audit purposes.
Support audits and ensure data confidentiality and integrity .
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in HR or related field
2+ years of experience in payroll processing.
In-depth knowledge of payroll regulations, taxation, and compliance (India or relevant
country-specific)
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and HRIS/payroll software.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to handle sensitive data with integrity and confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with national or international payroll.
Familiarity with employee benefits administration.
Familiarity with labor contracts, union agreements.
