Role Overview:

Bandhani - The Ethnic Store is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Handler & Website Handler to manage and enhance our digital presence. The role focuses on showcasing our ethnic collections, engaging with our audience, and ensuring smooth website operations to support online sales and brand growth.

The candidate will be responsible for creating visually appealing content, managing daily social media activities, responding to customer inquiries, and maintaining updated, accurate website content. This role plays a key part in strengthening Bandhani's brand identity, increasing customer engagement, and driving online traffic and conversions.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of social media platforms, basic website management skills, and an eye for design and presentation, especially for ethnic fashion and lifestyle products.

Key Responsibilities - Website Handler

  • Manage and regularly update website content (text, images, blogs, products, etc.)
  • Ensure smooth functioning, performance, and security of the website
  • Monitor website uptime, speed, and overall user experience
  • Upload and maintain pages using CMS platforms (WordPress or similar)
  • Fix basic website issues and coordinate with developers for technical support
  • Implement basic on-page SEO updates (meta tags, content optimization, URLs)
  • Ensure website content is accurate, updated, and error-free
  • Perform regular website backups and updates
  • Track website performance using analytics tools (Google Analytics, etc.)

Key Responsibilities - Social Media Handler

  • Manage daily operations of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn)
  • Create and publish engaging posts, reels, stories, and captions
  • Plan and execute monthly content calendars
  • Maintain brand tone and visual aesthetics aligned with ethnic fashion
  • Engage with followers, respond to comments and DMs promptly
  • Collaborate with design, marketing, and photography teams
  • Monitor analytics, insights, and improve engagement and reach
  • Stay updated with social media trends, reels formats, and hashtags
  • Support festival campaigns, new collection launches, and promotions

Eligibility & Qualifications:

  • Graduate in Marketing, Media, Fashion, or related field (preferred)
  • 03 years of experience in social media handling
  • Strong understanding of Instagram and Facebook algorithms
  • Experience with tools like Canva, Meta Business Suite, and scheduling tools
  • Basic knowledge of influencer marketing and collaborations
  • Passion for ethnic wear, fashion, and visual storytelling

  • Copywriting and caption writing
  • Creative thinking and trend awareness
  • Analytics & reporting

  • Basic understanding of SEO is an advantage
