Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and modify 3D models, assemblies, sheet metal, and weldments using
    SolidWorks
    .
  • Create detailed 2D manufacturing drawings with accurate
    dimensioning, GD&T, tolerances
    , and
    BOMs
    .
  • Interpret client inputs and email instructions effectively.
  • Manage design files and revisions using
    SolidWorks PDM
    .
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO, ASME, ANSI).
  • Translate client requirements into precise 3D/2D outputs.
  • Support fabrication by resolving design/documentation issues.
  • Communicate clearly with clients and internal teams to explain concepts and resolve queries.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • BE/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 1–2 years of hands-on experience with
    SolidWorks
    .
  • Proficiency in
    SolidWorks PDM
    .
  • Strong command of
    Part, Assembly, Sheet Metal, Weldment
    modules.
  • Expertise in 3D modeling, drafting, and detailing for manufacturing.
  • Solid understanding of
    GD&T
    , machining processes, sheet metal operations, and fabrication methods.
  • Knowledge of material selection (steel, aluminum, sheet metals, structural sizes).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Good communication skills for client-facing interactions.
