Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Design Engineer located in Pune. The Junior Design Engineer will be responsible for supporting design engineering projects, including the development and improvement of products. Daily tasks will involve creating and editing CAD models, assisting with mechanical and electrical engineering tasks, and collaborating with senior engineers to ensure the accuracy and feasibility of designs.

Qualifications

Basic knowledge of design engineering and product design

Knowledge of 3D modeling of mechanical products

Experience in creating manufacturing drawings

Good understanding of manufacturing processes, limits, fits & tolerances, and GD&T

Experience in engineering calculations and technical analysis

Prior work in the automation industry

Experience with jigs & fixtures, conveyor lines, packaging industry, material handling equipment, and robotic systems

Knowledge and experience in SPM (Special Purpose Machines) design

Competent in selection of standard and bought-out materials

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Good presentation skills
