About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and driven
Junior Software Engineer
to join our dynamic team in Pune. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with
Java
and
Big Data technologies
, excellent problem-solving skills, and a strong desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced technology environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and maintain scalable software applications using
    Java
    and
    Big Data frameworks
    .
  • Work closely with senior engineers to design and implement data processing pipelines and backend systems.
  • Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and optimization for performance and scalability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions on time.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies, frameworks, and industry best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree
    in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Preferred: Tier 1 University).
  • 1–3 years of experience
    in software development with strong programming skills in
    Java
    .
  • Exposure to
    Big Data technologies
    such as Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Kafka, or related tools.
  • Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming principles.
  • Familiarity with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and version control systems (Git).
  • Excellent
    written and verbal communication skills
    .
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Immediate availability
    to join preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Candidates with less than 1 year of experience may also be considered if they demonstrate strong coding skills and passion for technology.
  • Prior internship or project experience in Big Data or backend development is a plus.
