Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Deputy Manager of Rural Business in PMFBY at Reliance General Insurance, Branch located in Nagpur but need to work in any state as per business needs. The Deputy Manager will oversee and manage the implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY) at a District level. Responsibilities include coordinating with stakeholders like District level Agriculture officer,Primary workers,Farmers,Vendor and Field Team; monitoring sales targets, managing rural business operations, and ensuring adherence to compliance and regulatory requirements. The role also involves client interaction, resolving grievances, and contributing to strategies aimed at smooth completion of Surveys,CCEs and different meetings.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Operational Guidelines by GoI
  • Knowledge of Different crops in both Kharif and Rabi season, Insurance Units, Crop Cutting Experiments, CHM is must.
  • Strong understanding of rural insurance products, preferably PMFBY and related schemes.
  • Proficiency in operational and compliance management within the insurance sector.
  • Excellent communication, client relations, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working in sales, business expansion, or rural markets is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to develop and implement strategies effectively.
  • Ability to manage and coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders at various levels.
  • Bachelor's degree with Two years experience in PMFBY or BSc (Agri) with one year experience in PMFBY.
  • Relevant work experience in the insurance industry, especially in rural business or agricultural schemes, is highly preferred.
